Mr. Kenny is a regulatory attorney who has founded two companies (Decernis and Invenimus) and worked in Product Safety and Food/Cosmetics Compliance for nearly 30 years.
At Decernis, he built long-term relationships with the largest global Food and Consumer Products companies and established cooperations with 50 governments globally. His team built products and services aimed at simplifying Regulatory Compliance across the Food and Consumer Products supply chain. Mr. Kenny has traveled to 100+ countries and living in eight. He has done regulatory trainings for numerous Fortune 500 companies as well as governmental agencies in Africa and Asia. At Invenimus, his objective is to give back to the food and consumer products industry by providing comprehensive training courses affordable to anyone in the supply chain.

Andrew B. (Pat) Waldo
Founder and CEO of Ariel Research Corporation and Decernis
Andrew (Pat) Waldo was a co-founder and CEO of Decernis (2003 – 2020). At Decernis Mr. Waldo expanded the company internationally, working with global manufacturers in the development of improved compliance management systems for food, chemical and consumer products. In 2019 Mr. Waldo completed the acquisition of the company by Paine Schwartz, a private equity firm, and FoodChain ID. Prior to Decernis, Mr. Waldo was President of Ariel Research Corporation, which he founded in 1989 in the area of chemical control, later acquired in 2002 by Eastman Chemical Co.
Mr. Waldo has led the integration with enterprise systems for global compliance for material acceptance and supply chain management used by global manufacturers. He also led the development of multi-lingual big data and AI systems to identify client risks and key events. He has authored of a number of patents in this area. He developed the International Chemical Regulatory Monitoring System that was a finalist of the Computerworld-Smithsonian Institution Award for Innovation in Environment, Energy, and Agriculture.
Fernando Antunes-Lopes
Subject Matter Expert in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for Compliance
Fernando Antunes Lopes is a Brazil-based subject matter expert for food fraud, food contaminants and regulatory compliance. Mr. Lopes has a bachelor's in pharmacy and biochemistry from the University of São Paulo in Brazil, followed by a master's degree in food safety and food fraud from Auckland, New Zealand.
Mr. Lopes worked for 14+ years as a federal inspector and risk assessor for the Brazilian Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Food Supply in the state of Sao Paulo. He then moved on to Decernis in 2021 (now Food Chain ID) as subject matter expert for food contaminants and regulatory affairs. In 2024, Fernando has focused his time on discovering which AI and ML tools are most effective for food safety- and regulatory compliance.
